Upcoming Workshop

Prismatic Tales – finding light or colour – a practical workshop

Saturday, November 12 2016   10:30 AM – 12:30 PM

St James Hall, 33 Ocean Road, Paekakariki, Kapiti Coast, NZ (venue to be confirmed)

Caroline Welkin, storyteller, trainer and comedian from Wellington, is pleased to be able to share her new workshop, recently given at Sydney International Storytellers Conference.

Caroline provides a nourishing supportive environment for storytellers of all abilities. This is an opportunity to dip your toes in new story forms with Caroline supporting you all the way!

In this workshop for beginners and practising storytellers, a classic tale is taken ‘through the prism’, and then we work together on a chosen tale through our prism of different word forms.

A chance to examine and explore a story idea in a fun and experimental environment, to discover and practise some new ways to bring your tale into the light… to enjoy sharing it with other tellers.

The workshop fee is $30. If you wish to participate but this fee is a barrier, please contact us as we can offer some concessions.
